Abstract

The research is aimed to: 1) describe the process of managerial supervision using group technique to improve the principals’ supervisory competence; and 2) imrove the principals’ supervisory competence at Gugus II Bima UPTD Dikpora Kecamatan Serengan of Surakarta academic year 2012/2013 through managerial supervision using group technique.The type of the research is an action research. The research was done at Gugus II Bima UPTD Dikpora Kecamatan Serengan of Surakarta. The subjects of the research were 6 principals at Gugus II Bima UPTD Dikpora Kecamatan Serengan of Surakarta. The data collecting techniques were done using observation,  interview  and  document  techniques.  The  data  analysis  technique was done using Kemmis and Taggart model.The research concludes that: 1) the managerial supervision processes were done in three stages, namely: initial stage, observation stage, and feed-back stage; and 2) the managerial supervision using group technique is effective in improving the principals’ supervisory competence at Gugus II Bima UPTD Dikpora Kecamatan Serengan of Surakarta academic year2012/2013. It is demonstrated by the score improvement in each cycles.

Abstract

This research  aim to description  about improvement  of achievement  of matter learning skill reads textbook through giving approach of duty. Subject and research data source 20 students. Data collecting method applies observation, documentation,  and test. Data  analysis  applies  critical  analysis  and  comparability.   Indicator  success  of  using minimal limit criteria 75 and complete target of 100%. Research procedure applies cycle. Result of research and solution as follows : data obtained from finite precycle of cycle II, obtained progress of achievement of student learning in study of Indonesian with matter skill reads textbook,  at precycle average of 71,7 and cycle I average of 75,1 and cycle II average  of 85,1. From this data, seems to explain  that happened  increase  of average  of value  from  precycle  to cycle  I 3,4 numbers  (4,7%),  from  cycle  I to cycle  II happened increase 10 numbers (13,3%), from precycle to cycle II happened increase 13,4 numbers (18,7%).  Highest  value of phase precycle  82 and cycle I 86 and cycle II 92. Seems  to explain that from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 4 number (4,9%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 6 number (7%), and from precycle to cycle II happened increase 10 numbers (12,2%). Low value of phase precycle is obtained [by] 64 and cycle I 68 and cycle II 76. thereby, can be affirmed that from phase precycle to cycle I happened  increase  equal to 4 number  (6,3%),  from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 8 number (11,8%), and from precycle to cycle II happened increase 12 numbers  (18,8%).  Complete  percentage  learnt starts from precycle  is obtained  equal to25% and cycle I is obtained equal to 50% and cycle II equal to 100%. Seems to explainthat from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 25%, from cycle I to cycle IIhappened increase equal to 50%, and from precycle to cycle II happened increase equal to75%. Thereby, achievement  of student learning in study of Indonesian with matter skill reads textbook from finite precycle of cycle II happened increase significant.

Abstract

Act No. 14/ 2005 about Teachers and Lecturers and PP (GovernmentDecree) No 74/2008 about Teachers give an instruction to the government to certify on-going-occupation teachers of all courses in requirements. Based on the survey of Directorate General of PMPTK in 2009/, however, the program of certification couldn’t have developed teachers’ competency and professionalism significantly so that it does not positively take an effect on teachers’ performance development. The study aims to describe a model of biology teachers’ professional competency development based on the early competency test (UKA) in Surakarta. The procedure of research development used R & D model developed by Borg & Gall (2007), and then simplified by Samsudi (2009; 92) into three main stage: 1) introduction, 2) development, and 3) validation for finding a model. The introduction of the study empirically analyzed a model of professional competency development through Biology MGMP, called as factual model nowadays and theoretically analyzed the relevant researchers. It employed a survey approach while the instrument was questionnaires. The respondents or informants with purposive sampling were the heads of LPMP – Provincial Central Java, Education Agency of Regency/Mayor, Principals, the Committees of Biology MGMP, and Biology Teachers. In the stage of development, the researcher formulated an early development; then it was analyzed and matched with the relevant theories for making a model design developed in the form of Figure or Model Figure after validated through focus group discussion (FGD). The results of the study stated that a model of biology teachers’ professional competency based on the early competency test included the following characters: 1) implementing a model began with a competency test; 2) the activities reflected the aspect of continuing professional development (CDP); 3) the supervision was periodically realized by principals or course teachers); 4) giving feed-back for the next development was based on the evaluation; and 5) the speakers of Higher Education with relevant sciences were involved in the activities.

Abstract

The learning process is still dominated by the activities of the lecture so that less active learners. This will have an effect on activity and learning outcomes obtained learners in physics. To overcome the need for a suitable learning model so that students are more active and kretif in solving a problem that is by learning model Jigsaw. The purpose of research, the implementation of cooperative learning model Jigsaw can improve Physical activity and learning outcomes for students of class IX B SMP Negeri 16Surakarta, the first half of the year 20014/2015. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data obtained in this research include the study of students, learners and the level of activity observed in response to the results of the process pebelajaran. Indikator success when the average daily test results have been achieved> KKM. The results of the study, by using model Jigsaw can increase the activity and learning outcomes of students of class IX B SMP N 16 Surakarta academic year 20014/2015.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to increase news-writing skills by applying integrated approach and images utilization.The research is a type of action research which was conducted in 3 cycles. The main activities of the research were done in 4 steps: action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted to classVIIIA on the second term year 2013/2014 of Negeri 1 Teras Junior High School located in Boyolali. The subjects particularly were members of class VIIIA, consisting 32 students in total with the same ratio of girls and boys. The research uses field notes, observation guidelines, and news-writing trials as a method of collecting data. Descriptive-Qualitative method is used to analyse the development of writing skills. Both the process and the final results are analysed for this research. There are three conducted cycles. The result of the research showed that integrated approach and imagesutilization successfully increase the news-writing skills of the students both quantitatively and qualitatively. Initially, merely 7 of 32 students or approximately 21.88% of the students pass the average level while the classical learning mastering is 70.83%. After the first cycle has been done, the number of students who pass the average level increased significantly to 26 out of 32 or 81.25% while classical learning mastery increases to 77.89%. As a result, the succeed criteria of the research has not been achieved yet. The mean score of the students on first cycle is 77.89. Classical learning mastery is 85.07% therefore the succeed criteria has been passed this time. The mean score of the students on the second cycle is 85.07 which increases significantly compared to that on the first cycle.

Abstract

This research  aim to description  about  usage  of textbook  in the effort increasing achievement of matter learning Travelling at educative participant of class VIII B State of Junior  High School  two Cawas  Region  Klaten  even semester  of school  year 2014/2015. Subject   and   research   data   source   is  22  students.   Data   collecting   method   applies observation, documentation,  and test. Data analysis applies critical analysis and comparability.  Indicator success of using minimal limit criteria 75 and complete target of100%. Research procedure applies cycle. Result of inferential research and solution: From continuation  data  of  enclosure  5,  yard,  data  obtained  from  finite  precycle  of  cycle  II, obtained  progress  of achievement  of student  learning  in study  of English  with  matter Travelling,  at precycle average of 76,1 and cycle I average of 78,7 and cycle II average of89,8 Of data is, seems to explain that happened increase of average of value from precycleto cycle I 2,6 numbers  (3,4%),  from cycle I to cycle II happened  increase  11,2 numbers (10,8%), from pasiklus to cycle II happened increase 12,1 numbers (16,8%). Highest value of phase  precycle  82 and cycle  I 84 and cycle  II 96. Seems  to explain  that from  phase precycle  to cycle I happened  increase  equal to 2 number (2,4%),  from cycle I to cycle II happened  increase 12 numbers  (14,2%),  and from precycle to cycle II happened  increase13,8 numbers (18,1%). Low value of phase precycle is obtained by 68 and cycle I 74 andcycle II 84. thereby, can be affirmed that from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 6 number (8,8%), from cycle I to cycle II happened increase 10 numbers (13,5%), and from precycle to cycle II happened increase 16 numbers (24%). Complete percentage learnt starts from precycle is obtained equal to 64% and cycle I is obtained equal to 90% and cycle II equal to 100%. Seems to explain that from phase precycle to cycle I happened increase equal to 26%, from cycle I to cycle II happened increase equal to 10%, and from precycle  to cycle  II happened  increase  equal  to 36%.  Thereby,  achievement  of student learning  in  study  of  English  with  matter  Travelling  from  finite  precycle  of  cycle  II happened increase significant.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the mastery of concepts for the deaf children of class 1 through dhakon game. This research used the classroom action research approach by planning, actuating, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were all students in grade 1 SLB B YPALB Karanganyar, totaling 4 children. The techniques of collection data was done by observation, interviews (conversations) and documentation. Data validity used triangulation techniques, and the analysis of data used descriptive qualitative. The results of the research on first cycle, showed that all children increased in their values, 3 children, increased the value of 1 point and 1 child increased 2 points with an average value of 6, in the range of 40% <P d” 60%. The achievement of performance indicators category was enough. Despite the increase in value, but there was one child whose value was less than 6 (KKM). In the second cycle, 2 childres value increased by 1 point and 2 childrens increased the value of 2 points with an average value of 7.5, so it is in the range of 60% <P d” 80% with the category of high performance achievement indicators. No value below 6 (KKM). In the second cycle of the increase in value was set 60% <P d” 80% or ‘high’. The conclusion of the study, there was an increase in numbers for students mastery of concepts in SLB-B class I YPALB Karanganyar after the action through dhakon game.

Abstract

The research  has  five proposed: 1) to describe personal mastery of leadership in english departement at STKIP PGRI Ngawi, 2) to desribe mental methods of leadership in english departement at STKIP PGRI Ngawi, 3) to describe shared vision of leadership in english departement at STKIP PGRI Ngawi, 4) to describe system thinking of leadership in english departement at STKIP PGRI Ngawi. 5) to describe team learning of leadership in english departement at STKIP PGRI Ngawi. The skill is descripƟve qualitaƟve research; study case. The source of the data research from the chairman, lecture and students. The result of the research shows that are: 1) personal mastery: a) commitment; personal and a shared commitment, b) creativity, innovative and priorities; good creativity, innovative and priorities. 2) mental methods: a) criticism and suggestions; received and evaluated of the criticism and suggestions, b) Behavior;   discipline, responsible and friendly. 3) Shared vision: a) motivation and oppeness; good motivation and slightly open, b) Vision; shared vision. 4) systems thinking has not been so appears. 5) Tim learning: a) position; the position isn’t an obstacle to maintain good relations between the others, b) dialogue and discussion; to improve communication.

Abstract

This research  has a purpose  trough BBPL strategic  could improve  communication and Bahasa Indonesia studying result for students X MIA-3 grade semester 2013/2014. This  research  is  a  action  class  research  which  has  two  cyclone  and  each  of  cyclone contain 4 steps, action planning, action doing, observation, and reflection. Subject of this research are the 41 students of X MIA-3 grade SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. Collecting data by  observation  with  observation  sheet  and  written  test  technique  questions  within. Collected data sort by table form graph and analysis. Data analysis in this research used descriptive comparative technique. Total student pass KKM before action are 5 students (19%), first cyclone increase 20 students (49%) and second increase 34 students (85%). Research  result  is  implementation   BPL  strategic  could  improve  communication   and Bahasa   Indonesia   studying   result   persuade   chapter   for  student   X  MIA-3   grade. Summary of this research is implementation  PBL learning strategic in Bahasa Indonesia learning   could  increase   communication   and  Bahasa  Indonesia   studying   result  for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the counseling teacher effort in addressing juvenile delinquency anddescribe the efforts of religious education teachers in addressing juvenile delinquency in SMAN 1 Ngadirojo. This study is a qualitative type. The main subject of research is the principal, teachers, and students. The method of collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Teachers Counseling made various efforts to address juvenile delinquency. Such efforts include preventive activities and curative activities. Measures include preventive activities include making personal guidance, coordination with parents, daily monitoring, and also the provision of coaching programs in Monday. Measures include curative activities include cooperation with the police and health centers, conduct home visits, provide spiritual guidance and direction of talent and interest. (2) The teacher of religious education made  various efforts in addressing juvenile delinquency. teachers packed learning activities using the media and methods as well integrates the values  when the national character of the material conveying religious. efforts outside the organized program of learning is habituation, approaching students in private, in coordination with parents, ask students active in Rohis credible form, as well as perform the operation order.
